Ideas for 18th Bithday? Alice in wonderland/Mad Hatter?
So my 18th birthday is coming up in about a month or so and i have an idea of an alice in wonderland/mad hatter theme but i don't know what to actually do and how to make it fun for everyone,. we will all be 17 and 18 so activities that you would deem as acceptable for the age group. it will around 15 people.

I like the Alice in Wonderland idea. Ask people to dress as (or suggest through their dress) their favorite character. You could have little bottles that say "drink me" (energy shots with labels removed?) and little cards by the snacks that say "eat me". You could distribute playing cards for a door prize. Choose a selection(s) from the book and do mad libs. Will you be Alice?
If you live with your folks, have your mom dress as the red queen and your dad as the white rabbit! Whenever they have to appear, your mom can shout "off with her/his head" and your dad can drag your mom off, looking at his pocket watch, saying "I'm late, I'm late!"
Have good tunes and interesting food. Think Walrus and the Carpenter. You could show the new movie if it's out on DVD. Make it a little dark and weird. Your friends can help with decor. Do a hat making activity. You could have a crazy tea party and little "unbirthday" cakes for all your guests. They could even decorate them themselves with icings and sprinkles on the table.
If you do spin the bottle, make sure to attach a "drink me" label to it. You could give skeleton keys as favors - available from Lowes or Home Depot.
Don't forget the hookah-smoking caterpillar!
