Would Catholics take offence at someone wearing a necklace that slightly resembles a rosary but has no cross?
Would wearing a necklace that looks a bit like a rosary but has a different pendant at the bottom (not a cross) offend Catholic people? - Is this shape (a necklace that goes round your neck and hangs to just under the chest then has a line of beads going down with a pendant on the end) too much like a set of rosary beads?
It isnt someone elses rosary so has no sentimental or spiritual value and the only way it really resembles a rosary is the shape and the way in which the beads are spaced unevenly - I just don't want to cause offence to people and wanted to get some opinions before wearing it.
That sounds like just a string of beads.
I like that you are socially conscious enough to ask the question, but I don't think it's anything to worry about.
