Really, Where in he "bible" does it say ANYTHING bout Abortion. Even if it does, who cares? You don't have the right to push YOUR believes on the rest of the country. Why do you even care? The Bible also says that a disobedient child should be stoned to death. ut you don't stone your children do you? the Bible also says Slavery is ok, and it preaches sexist. ( Ironically )
I don't go pushing all of my believes on the rest of the country, and yeah, you have a right to yours, but contrary to popular believe, god probably doesn't give a dam, he's going to send all of those people that have abortions to hell anyway right?
First off, your question is wrong. You are stereo typing by assuming that just because someone is conservative or Republican that we are all pro life supporters. I lean to the right and consider myself a republican but I am not a pro life supporter. This just hits the tip of an Iceberg concerning my complete thoughts on this subject but that is not the point of my answer to your question and I will go back to your question.
The bottom line is, no matter what anyone thinks and has a strong opinion of, this country is a democracy and that means you are free to feel however you want on this subject. On the other hand, those that think different than you have that right as well. The problem gets to be when those with the strongest opinions think they must impose those opinions on others, be it through the courts or our country's constitutional amendments. The facts are both party's are guilty of this crime and the prof is in our colorful history of the United States of America. In my opinion it is a crime when opinions are so strong that they force others to their will or way of thinking through enforcement. Very dangerous These strong opinions on this very subject by different religious groups is one of the main reasons I will have nothing to do with organized religion. Just my opinion, no irony intended.
